Rules used throughout the project
- Do not import known physical equations as hidden mechanisms.
- Do not identify coordinates or mathematical state variables with ontology.
- Keep fine and coarse descriptive levels distinct.
- Treat measured constants as calibrations when they are not independently derived.
- Distinguish CORE, DERIVED, CANDIDATE, CALIBRATION and OPEN claims.
- Prefer explicit falsification criteria to rhetorical claims of completeness.
Coordinates and geometry
Coordinates are treated as mapping tools. UGSD does not insert a fundamental 3+1 coordinate ontology into its minimal starting point.
Coarse-graining
Planck scales and SI units can be used as effective calibration bridges without being interpreted as the smallest literal structures of reality.
