Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to common conceptual questions about UGSD.
Is UGSD a theory of everything?
No. UGSD is presented as a unified foundational research framework with a minimal generative architecture. Important downstream problems remain open.
Is ZDB an ether?
Not by definition. ZDB is a reference ground state and is not identified in advance with a classical mechanical ether.
Is ZDB the quantum vacuum?
Not by definition. Effective quantum-vacuum phenomena can constrain UGSD, but the framework does not equate the two at the starting level.
Does UGSD reject relativity?
No. Relativistic observations and the measured causal scale c are treated as central calibration and consistency constraints.
Does UGSD reject quantum mechanics?
No. The project investigates whether quantum response structure can emerge from a deeper relational architecture.
Are Planck units fundamental UGSD cells?
No. Planck scales are used as coarse-graining and SI calibration tools, not as proven microscopic cells of reality.
Does UGSD derive particle masses?
Not yet. The mass mechanism is structurally developed at the effective level, while the observed particle spectrum remains open.
Has UGSD been experimentally confirmed?
No. It is an exploratory framework that has been checked for consistency against selected observations and established effective physics.
What would falsify UGSD?
Failure of a single compatible architecture to support the required open, recurrent, gravity and quantum response structures would challenge the program. See the Validation page for explicit criteria.
